Bay of Bengal Resort at Ngwe Saung is offering
package deals starting October 15.

WITH the start of the high tourist season less than a month away,
hotels and resorts at Myanmar’s beaches have started announcing
special promotional packages to attract early-season sun worshippers.
Bagan Thande Hotel at Ngapali is offering three-day/two-night
package deals from October 1 to November 15, which include roundtrip
airfare, accommodation and one lunch or dinner. The price will
be US$175 a person for foreigners and $135 for locals.
Bay of Bengal Resort at Ngwe Saung has announced packages from
October 15 to November 15 aimed at attracting local residents.
For K180,000 net, two people will get two nights of accommodation
in a superior room plus meals. Upgrades to deluxe rooms, suites
and villas are available at higher rates.
At Amata Resort and Spa in Ngapali, beachgoers can take advantage
of a three-day/two-night Thadingyut package from October 26 to
28, priced at $219 a person for foreigners and $199 for locals.
The price includes roundtrip airfare, accommodation, daily breakfast,
roundtrip airport transfer and a tour of three local pagodas and
Thandwe market.
Amata Resort and Spa is also kicking off the beach season with
three-day/two-night Super Value Opening packages, valid from September
20 to the end of October and priced at $199 for foreigners and
$179 for locals. The deal includes everything in the Thadingyut
package minus the pagoda and market tour.
