Exams rescheduled

By Aung Shin

EXAMS have begun for students at the University of Distance Education after being postponed for several weeks from late September, state-run newspapers have reported.

The exams are being held at the university’s Yangon and Mandalay campuses and at other universities throughout the country, they said, quoting a statement issued by the Department of Distance Education under the Education Ministry.

The first batch of exams was held from November 21 to 29, and the statement said the second batch will take place from December 17 to 24 and the third from January 11 to 18.

Lectures to help students prepare for the second batch of exams will take place from December 3 to 13 and for the third batch from December 28 to January 7.
